MATERIAL MATTERS

Since 2019 we've been working with more sustainable materials including recycled polyester, BCI cotton, recycled cotton, and organic cotton. As we continue to invest in kinder materials and processes, we're also committed to being transparent about our progress. By 2025, we aim for 60% of our collection to be made with lower impact materials, but here are a few areas we're already working on.

RECYCLED POLYESTER Our recycled polyester diverts PET (plastic bottles) and plastic waste from landfill, to give it a new lease of life. In the next year, we'll significantly increase our use of this material, as well as exploring other more sustainable alternatives.

BCI COTTON By buying better cotton, we're investing in the Better Cotton Initiative's mission to support cotton farmers with training on environmentally-friendly methods, reduction of harmful chemicals, and fair working conditions.

RECYCLED SILVER 100% of our kids’ swimwear and kaftans are made from recycled polyester, all clothing is made with BCI cotton, and sunglasses are made from 100% recycled plastic.

THE NEXT STEPS

We're transitioning towards more sustainable materials across our collections, including responsibly-sourced viscose and recycled metals. Going forward, we'll continue to seek out kinder materials and more sustainable solutions for our product.
